I started with State Farm Insurance in 1979 as an agent right after I graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. My father was a State Farm agent in Durant and I worked for him while attending college, so State Farm has been in our blood for quite a few years. My wife and I were married in 1983 and have three boys which are all Eagle scouts and I was their scout leader for numerous years.
