I was a corporate girl for many, many years-15 to be exact. I worked at the Daily Press newspaper in Newport News, VA in advertising for 8 years after college.

My home studio allows for the best of both worlds offering indoor space with props/backdrops perfect for babies and children. My outdoor space is 2 acres of gorgeous property with mature trees and a split rail fence for a very natural, countryside setting. In an hour session you can easily accomplish both to have a very diverse gallery to choose from.

A newborn session is generally done in the first 7-14 days of life. A studio session, depending on the package you chose, can last anywhere from an hour to 3+ hours. You will have access to a wide variety of props, hats, wraps, backdrops and studio and natural lighting. The time we spend together accommodates a combination of shooting, feedings, diaper changes and soothing/snuggles.

I love planning a photo session that you will fall in love with over and over. I am always so honored when you choose me to capture your life's most precious moments. And, I promise a session with me is relaxed and fun! We run, play in leaves, have tickle wars and throughout the process I am gently guiding the session along looking for the best light and scenery to make beautiful portraits.
