How long have you been at Mellina Animal Hospital or in the veterinary profession? I graduated from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 1978. Upon graduation, I immediately drove to Alaska and started practicing veterinary medicine right away in Fairbanks at a very busy small animal hospital.
I gained a lot of experience in medicine and surgery rapidly. Located in central Alaska, there was no place to send cases for consultation or help, so we "did it all." I can recall performing multiple surgeries with textbooks open for reference. It was quite an experience.

If being admitted into the hospital, we cannot begin the care of your pet until you have confirmed your desire to do so by 1) signing the client consent & estimate form and 2) leaving an initial deposit of 50% of the upper end of the estimate.
