Barbara touched so many lives and helped to create so many families. She brought joy and happiness to all that had the privilege of knowing her. She was an adoption pioneer, a staunch and passionate advocate, and a surrogate mom/aunt/grandmother to so many.

James was born in Bogot, Colombia in October of 1973 and adopted at two weeks of age by Barbara and Joel Greenberg.
