Richard Gross, DDS graduated from Ohio State University in 1985. He continues to educate himself in the latest dental technology. Although Dr. Gross practices all aspects of family dentistry, he specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. He belongs to three ongoing dental study clubs, and takes 3 times the amount of continuing dental education credit hours as are required by law.

We will do a comprehensive dental exam at your visit. We are not only looking for any concerns with your teeth and gums, but we are looking at your total health - beyond the mouth. During the comprehensive dental exam, we will do a thorough oral cancer exam, take any necessary x-rays, check your gums, get any other needed records, answer all of your questions, and address any of your concerns.

Our comprehensive exam will be the most thorough dental exam you've ever had! Together, you and one of our doctors will discuss your past dental history and what you would like to achieve from your dental treatment.
Our complete clinical examination will include: a medical history review, an evaluation of your gums and the tissues that support your teeth, a yearly oral cancer screening, a look at your chewing muscles, jaw joints, and your bite and how they function together, assessing the health of each of your teeth and determining the need for fillings, crowns, etc, taking all appropriate x-rays and intraoral photos, and evaluating your smile esthetically.
