Letterpress is an over 500 year-old relief printing technique which uses a printing press. Our presses are between 80 and 100 years old and are printing as well today as they ever have. Letterpress uses a unique plate, created for each artwork, which is inked on the raised surface and pressed against the paper.

We can and do accommodate rush orders for a fee which is determined on a case by case basis. You artwork should be final size; if you want a 5" x 7", your artboard should be set at 5" x 7". If your artwork requires a bleed (i.e. if your art has parts that go all the way to the edge of the paper), in your document settings, set the bleed to.125 on each side and extend your artwork to the edge of the bleed line.

One of the most common questions we get is, "How much does it cost for letterpress / foil stamping / screen printing etc." The truth is that every job is unique and comes with its own considerations. Prices can vary widely depending on paper, quantity, size, print process, and number of ink / foil colors.

Really disappointed with the "customer service" from Michele.
I placed an order on August 19th. I was told that I would receive the order on September 7th, despite my quote stating "Our standard turn around time is 7-10 business days from receipt of print ready artwork, paper type and color, and pantone or foil specifications." Whatever, everyone is busy these days.
I finally received my order on September 15th, 8 days from my promised delivery time, and well over the 10 business days I was originally quoted. The kicker? They were printed incorrectly.
I immediately told Michele and had to follow

Unfortunately using Czar was a horrible decision. I entrusted them with what should have been a fun and exciting project, and they completely tainted the process and experience. There was zero sense of urgency and an utter lack of communication. The staff was amateur at best with no regard for customer service, and I was told there was a fair amount of turnover. I was given excuse after excuse for the poor workmanship and in the end, had to settle for a really terrible finished product. You're not able to write a Google review with no stars, but they deserve 0. Do not use Czar.
