We are creative documentarians. We observe stories unfolding before us as we artistically explore the meanings and emotions that permeate each moment. The posture of "documenting" speaks to our passion for exploring and experiencing life to its fullest. Our style is truly wrapped up in our name. An "atelier" is an artist studio, which points back to our passion for art.
And the best part is that our atelier follows us wherever we go, from our office in Portland, Oregon, to the wide world beyond. Over the years, my journeys throughout the world have solidified my interest in photography and filmmaking. In particular, trips to Nepal and Thailand throughout my twenties taught me the influence of images and stories on our worldviews.

My cinematography and filmmaking arise out of a passion to appreciate the experiences that shape our lives, both the mundane and the incredible. No matter how hard one may try on their own, every moment has the potential to be. The official music video for Me Dicen la Malandrina by Yissel Lopez was filmed on location throughout the Oregon landscape.

I'm so thankful that Oiselle asked me to document the journey of some of their sponsored athletes. It was an honor to see how each woman paid tribute to the "feminine fierce" quality that Oiselle celebrates. They sent me to the Portland. I was excited to work with Emma Kingston's team over at Center Gyrotonic.

Amaya and Jon celebrated their relationship by weaving together beautiful elements from both Catholic and Jewish traditions. They chose the Columbia Gorge Hotel as the perfect wedding venue and you'll see in their wedding video that they could not have. The slopes of Mt. Saint Helens were a stunning backdrop for celebrating Belle and Omar's marriage.

Looking back over our wedding this past July is only possible after the fact because we have such beautiful pictures and extensive video footage of the day!.
