Having low tire pressure causes more drag between your tires and the road, thereby making your engine work even harder. DMC recommends that you do a tire pressure check every time you fill your fuel tank. Another option is to have your tires filled with Nitrogen which is more stable gas.

In the past, carburetors used to deliver fuel into the engine. Today, most vehicles use a fuel injection system. This type of fuel delivery system uses a fuel injector which is a computer-controlled valve that takes pressurized fuel supplied by an electronic fuel pump and atomizes it, turning it into a fine spray, that burns easily.
