Looking at moving into the city and no one demands 60 day notice. It is a horrible policy and leaves a really bad impression on the entire experience when moving on.
So much for being rewarded for being a good tenant...
My time at the apartment was peaceful and well maintained.
Maintenance done in a timely fashion and the dude who does the maintenance is a super nice guy!

This was the first apartment I lived in when I moved to DC 3 years ago to attend American University. The apartments are really quaint and cozy. They have hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, and nice finishes with ample natural light. You have to walk up as there is no elevator so moving in was kind of a pain in the butt, but the second floor really isn't too much of a struggle.
Everyone that visited loved how cute our apartment was.The area is super peaceful and right next to the capitol crescent trail, a shopping center and a dog park. I always felt safe, and our neighbors were

The management at this apartment complex is amazing. Rania and her team are always available to help, and all of the maintenance employees are knowledgeable and friendly, and go out of their way to make sure your apartment stays in great condition. It's only a 10-15 minute drive from DC, but still manages to have a relaxed, suburban feel to it.

I lived at Sumner Highlands for over 8 years before I moved this year. I absolutely loved this place. I prefered renting here to buying a condo in a similar area.
You cannot beat the living location: across the street from C&O Canal Trails and an easy bike ride from Fletcher's Cove and Georgetown.
Excellent dog-friendly apartment complex. I actually know the names of the doggies here better than I know their owners. Great BBQ place!! The fire-flies appear on-schedule in early July. Also, since it is on the "Snow Emergency Route" all snow here gets plowed FIRST and it&apos

I've lived in lots of apartments over the years and this was by far the best overall! Excellent area, safe, nice neighbors, walking distance to shops, bus to metro, dog friendly WITH a dog park! Updated kitchen with gas stove, wood floors, and secure building. Everyone who works there is professional and friendly, especially the property manager, Rania. She always goes above and beyond. To find all this in one place is truly rare. Now that I'm gone, I miss living there so I wanted to write a review to help others when searching for an apartment and to thank the staff for all they did

Wonderful apartments! The management team is very professional and maintains the property beautifully. Very safe and secure area. You can walk across the street to Safeway, CVS, verious banks, and 5-6 restaurants, plus other stores. The Palisades area of DC is a five minute drive with 20+ restaurants. Within the school boundaries of the #1 ranked high school in Maryland, Walt Whitman High School. School bus drives through the parking lot for the younger children. I am so glad to have been able to stay there!
