We emphasize preventive strategies tailored to each pet's life stage, from puppies/kittens to seniors. Our team addresses chronic conditions and acute illnesses with diagnostic tools like lab testing and imaging, ensuring early detection and treatment. With a focus on education, we guide owners on nutrition, behavior, and parasite prevention to promote long-term well-being.
Emergency Services
We provide critical care for pets during emergencies, including trauma, poisoning, or severe illness. Our staff performs immediate triage assessments to stabilize patients using IV fluids, oxygen, and pain management. Advanced diagnostics like X-rays and ultrasounds help identify life-threatening conditions. We coordinate with owners for timely interventions, ensuring pets receive lifesaving treatments within crucial windows while maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
Surgery
Our surgical services range from spay/neuter procedures to complex orthopedic and soft-tissue operations. Pre-surgical bloodwork and ECGs ensure patient safety under anesthesia. We use laser technology for precision and faster recovery, supported by IV catheterization and monitoring. Post-operative care includes pain management and detailed home recovery instructions. Procedures like TPLO for cruciate repair and cherry eye correction are performed with specialized expertise to restore mobility and comfort.
Dental Care
Dental health is critical to overall wellness, so we offer comprehensive oral care including cleanings, extractions, and periodontal treatment. Digital X-rays assess hidden dental disease, while ultrasonic scaling removes plaque and tartar. We address tooth decay, gum infections, and oral pain through tailored interventions. Preventive education covers home brushing techniques and diet adjustments to maintain oral health and prevent systemic complications from untreated dental issues.
Pet Boarding
Our supervised boarding facility provides a safe, comfortable environment for pets when owners travel. Vaccination requirements ensure a healthy setting, while trained staff monitor for medical needs. Dogs enjoy playtime and socialization, while cats stay in quiet, enriched spaces. Owners can bring familiar food and toys to reduce stress. We offer 24/7 monitoring for emergencies, with immediate veterinary care access if needed during stays.

I scoured the internet for hours reading reviews on all the veterinarians in the Fayetteville area and eventually asked around, and this was the one local vet nobody had anything bad to say about. We adopted our cats from the Cumberland county animal shelter over the Summer, so not knowing a whole lot about their past interactions with humans (other than us) has made finding a good vet in the area who will treat them as gently and with as much kindness as we do at home very important. So I took one of my kittens and my old man cat in yesterday for a general wellness check-up, and I was REALLY

Nightmare, absolute nightmare!!!! I would not recommend this office to anyone! I recently scheduled an appointment to have my fur baby scheduled for two surgeries. I made sure to do my part and called twice to confirm the information that I was given was the same and to confirm that all steps were met. After being told the same information twice I proceeded to schedule the surgery. I also received a detailed voice message confirming my appointment and what surgeries my fur baby was to be receiving. At drop off everything went smoothly. After leaving the office I received a call from the representative

This animal hospital provided me with such a unique experience. Kerri & Shelly, the two receptionists, were so kind and caring. Shelly handled me perfectly while I was crying and Shelly made small jokes after learning a little about me and lessened my stress while I was there worrying about my pup. Dr. Silvious was extremely professional and kind but also very honest with me which I very much appreciated. Kane was my vet tech I believe and he did a wonderful job of making my pup comfortable while he was in so much pain. Cole passed away today but I'm thankful that he was surrounded by

I highly recommend Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital for all of your pets medical needs. They will bend over backwards to help you and your animal. For example. My dog was injured the day before Thanksgiving and four hours before they closed. I called and with no hesitation they said to bring her in. I saved hundreds of dollars by not having to go to the emergency vet. And the icing on the cake? They won't break your bank account.

They were very friendly towards my wife and I and even friendlier w our fur babies. The vets are knowledgeable and will even tell you if they think a certain vaccine or test is even worth the money. definitely felt like genuine and honest advice.
