I am the owner of and a lead photographer at Michael Rhodes Photography. I have been a professional photographer for years and STILL love my work: capturing images at my photo studio in Strongsville, wedding photography, engagement sessions, senior pics, headshots, or tintypes. Interesting facts: I am one of about 200 photographers nationwide who take tintypes and I am one of only a dozen photographers who has a traveling dark room.

Tintype images are handmade using the same equipment, chemicals, and process that were used in the mid- to late-1800s. The wetplate collodion process was invented in 1851. Tintypes are truly one of a kind. Perfect for any occasion, Mike is thrilled to offer this historic process in the studio in Strongsville or offsite using his traveling darkroom.
