Better Life Chiropractic is a wellness clinic aimed to optimize health naturally. Dr. Andrews' and Dr. Lam's mission is to provide the people of Greater Lafayette health improvements through education and holistic chiropractic care. Our goal is to help you achieve personal goals by addressing the underlying cause(s) of dis-ease and preventing future episodes through corrective exercise and adjustments.

Chiropractic is widely known to be the most effective complementary and alternative method of natural healing. Chiropractic is the art, science and philosophy of addressing the root cause of your disease by restoring joint function and alleviating the tension on the neuromuscular system. Causes of our disease is directly linked to our everyday life activities that is stressful to our bodies.

Dr. Nancy Lam was born and raised in Iowa where she learned the importance of family and health. She graduated from Mason City High School where she participated in several competitive sports: Soccer, Track and Field, Softball and Basketball. She then studied at North Iowa Area Community College and received an Associate in Art and Science degree.

Our initial exam is a one-to-one consultation with your provider to review your health history and to address any concerns or questions you may have. Based on the consultation, a thorough physical examination will be performed to understand and determine what is the cause of your symptoms.

Our office believes in not only addressing your current symptoms but to look at the overall picture with a complete approach to diagnose and provide care for our patients.Performing x-rays, when warranted, will allow us to analyze your structure and better explain what is causing your symptoms. Our second visit may last 30-45 minutes.

Why are neck and back pains so common? There are some people that wake up and experience pain or kink in their neck or upper back and not know why. Some questions to consider are: what position are you sleeping in and what type of pillow and mattress are you using? When choosing a pillow, look for one that supports the natural curvature of your spine while lying down.
