Burchfield, Sr. opened the dental practice in Golden, Colorado.
He was joined in 1998 by his son, Dr. John M. Burchfield, Jr. The two practiced dentistry together for 13 years until Dr. John R. Burchfield, Sr. retired in 2011. Dr. John M. Burchfield, Jr. continues his father's legacy of honest, caring dental work with a pursuit of current techniques to provide the patient with an exceptional and thorough dental experience.

In my 72 years I have lived in numerous cities, of course finding a dentist in each city. I have been blessed by having some very good dentists. I had thought I had found the best one in the last city prior to moving to CO. Much to my delight, I was mistaken, as Dr. Burchfield has proved to be the best of the best.
