Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps clients identify and reframe negative thought patterns while developing practical coping strategies. This short-term, goal-oriented approach effectively addresses anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques like journaling and role-playing to reinforce skills between sessions, ensuring measurable progress toward emotional resilience and healthier behaviors.
Psychiatric Services
Our board-certified psychiatrists provide comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for mental health conditions. Services include initial assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing care for disorders like ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. We combine medication with therapy to optimize outcomes, ensuring clients receive personalized, science-backed interventions tailored to their biological and psychological needs.
Play Therapy
Play Therapy utilizes structured play to help children express emotions and resolve psychological challenges. Specially trained therapists observe and guide play sessions to address developmental delays, trauma, or behavioral issues. This non-directive approach allows children to communicate naturally, fostering emotional growth and problem-solving skills through a safe, therapeutic environment.
Group Therapy
Group Therapy connects individuals with shared experiences under professional guidance. Sessions focus on topics like grief, addiction recovery, and LGBTQ+ support, promoting peer connection and collective healing. Facilitators encourage open dialogue and skill-building exercises, creating a supportive space where participants gain insights and coping strategies through shared perspectives.
Pre-Marital Counseling
Pre-Marital Counseling prepares couples for marriage through structured sessions addressing communication, conflict resolution, and shared values. This was my first experience with a psychiatrist ever, and i thought it was going to be better than it actually was.. i saw dr. thein over the phone and she seemed to not care at all. she barely greeted me, and i had to repeat myself a couple of times because she wasnt even listening to me, and the 40 minute initial appointment turned out to be around 25. on top of all this, they charged me $350 for an appointment because they didnt accept my insurance and they never even told me this!!! they claimed to have left a voice message stating this, i checked, no voicemail. this place

Do not trust your mental health to this office. The doctors dont care if your prescription is filled and will charge a $75 late fee for virtual appointments that they arrive late to and leave early. All the appointments are super late, after 6:30pm and dont last more than 5 mins.

My husband and I started marriage counseling with Dr. Amir Abbassi as our last effort, we were already talking divorce. From the start we were very comfortable with Dr. Abbassi. His warm demeanor put us at ease, and his expert knowledge and wisdom quickly got our attention. We recently celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary which we could not have achieved on our own. Dr. Abbassi truly saved our marriage! I have also counseled with Dr. Abbassi seperately in order to get through a personal situation in which I felt defeated. While experiencing loss, anxiety, and depression, Dr. Abbassi once again
