Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Blake Jones graduated from Calvary Day School then attended Georgia Southern University and Armstrong Atlantic State University where he played basketball. He earned a bachelor's degree in Cell/Molecular Biology from Armstrong.

Implants

Implants are small titanium posts, which are inserted into the bone where teeth are missing. These metal anchors act as tooth root substitutes. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. Small posts are then attached to the implant, which protrude through the gums (called abutments).
Fillings
Report
A filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. When a dentist gives you a filling, he or she first removes the decayed tooth material, cleans the affected area, and then fills the cleaned out cavity with a filling material. By closing off spaces where bacteria can enter, a filling also helps prevent further decay.
