David was born and raised in San Diego. A graduate of Hilltop High School, he attended San Diego State University and University of Phoenix earning a degree in Business Management. He has been with Hoffman Hanono Insurance since 1995 and became President in 2006, the third generation to do so. David and his wife have three children.
