A ten years family owned restaurant, known as a strip mall noodle house and located between Rice Wood Way and Morton Rd in Katy, Texas. Since we are well known for our favorites Vietnamese sandwiches & Pho, and bubble tea. In addition, we also provide a great selection of high quality, authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.

About Us Report

Founded by Hien Pham, the inspirations of Pho 88 came at the conclusion of the loss of Vietnam War. Hien's mother, Nang Vo grew up in a little town in Khanh Hoa, Nha Trang and became a well known for her delicious grill cooking. She dreamed of having a restaurant one day, but she was only cooking for her family and friends.

This is one of the best pho i've had in a long time. home made pho are always the best because most places just can't get the broth flavor right. this pho place broth was so flavorful and so good! i was driving around looking for something to eat for lunch and glad i stopped in to try. i did get an order of eggrolls also which wasn't great. it was oily and the meat lacked flavor big time. the texture of the meat was pretty different than any typical eggrolls i've always eaten. meat was kind of overly grounded and mushy.

Food is great, table cleaned before u take a seat, service be patient or know what you want as soon as your asked. Lemonade is so good, pho & spring rolls are my favorite. :)

Absolutely fantastic food. I have ordered Chicken spring rolls and Bahn chicken sandwiches multiple times. I always order to go food is fresh chicken is flavorful. They always let you know how long the food will take and when you arrive it's ready. All the staff has great customer service.

Tried ordering for pickup, but they answer and hangup. Tried calling again, but the line is busy. That's weird and very suspicious. If you don't want my money just say that. Don't recommend if this is how they handle business.

Best pork chops I've had so far! One bite instantly reminds me of the Pork chops I ate when I was growing up in Vietnam, it was seasoned just right! Banh mi(sandwiches) is also very good, crispy but soft. The egg rolls are nice and crispy too, and I really appreciate that it comes with lettuce and pickled carrot to wrap the egg rolls in to dip with the dipping sauce. Not to mentioned, the portion is big but so reasonably priced. Will be my go to Vietnamese food place when I am in Katy for as long as it exist.

Hands down the best restaurant ever! They serve all sorts of delicious foods like pho, rice plates, vermicelli bowls, banh mis. Their grilled meats are the best, I love it!!!! I come here at least 2x a week.
Price is reasonable, service is great, and food comes out pretty quick! I would recommend giving this restaurant a shot!

I've been coming here for years with my sisters and it is as great as the first time I came. I love the grilled beef and often order either the grilled beef banh mi or the vermicelli bowl. The portions are huge for the bowl (easily enough for two meals and there are still leftovers). Spring rolls are also massive and can be a meal on their own! My sisters are the pho lovers and they claim this is the best spot in Houston - I don't eat pho as often as they do but I definitely believe it. Great customer service and also food is prepared quickly if you are in a rush.

Note:This restaurant is not offering in person dining, order for pick up only. Reasonably fast service and they are generous with the condiments. Noodles and meat were fresh, pho broth could have used a bit more flavor but was still good.

Paid $5.70 for this tiny thai tea and boba drink (20oz container for comparison). The boba was horrible and was overcooked, not chewy at all.

Food is always great here. Like this place a lot and the ppl are friendly. I went during covid and they are so good at enforcing social distancing. They wear mask and gloves. I forgot the meals name but it was chicken and rice. So good!

Food was okay but portions were really small for the price. The spring rolls were just a large amount of iceberg lettuce, and the small pho was REALLY small. There were only two pieces of meet and a small bit of noodles. Was very disappointed when they brought it out to me. My husband ordered the rice plate and he got a small amount of pork. Nothing special, won't be coming back.

Eh. Just another typical Americanize pho shop in Katy. Not so great but I was in dire need of something soupy. Spring rolls were all iceberg lettuce. Eggrolls were kinda mushy inside. Pho broth was extremely dark for some odd reason. I honestly didn't like the fact that the back of the house were talking so loudly on her phone that it echoed all the way to the front. Probably wouldn't be back. I need to start cooking at home more often.

This is your typical neighborhood mom and pop store. Nothing fancy about their place simple and clean. The spring rolls are full of fresh shrimps and lettuce dip in the fresh peanut sauces and hot sauce yum. The pho broth is delicious and is full of cilantro and bean spurt and green onions and onion and basil and jalapeno pepper. The beef was marble just right not too much fat. The whole thing was delicious and filling.

If you are looking for five stars service this is not the place, but a friendly mom and pop shop this is the place to be. The food is good and the price is decent.

No tofu for one of the few vegetarian options. Ordered it without. Vegetarian rolls had rice noodle, lettuce, cilantro and beansprouts in rice paper...thats it. Peanut sauce was ok. The bahn or chicken sandwich was good according to my friend. The vermicelli was ok but since there was no tofu there was also no sause. When I asked about it they replied they had fish sauce or more peanut sause....thats after the fact that I had said that i was a vegitatian like 5 times. The boba or tapioca drink wasn't very flavorful but not too sweet either which is good I guess.

Pro: it was inexpensive.

I will have to rate this place based off the taste of the bahn mi sandwiches only. I have yet to feel in the world of Pho, but I am sure that virgin territory will be conquered in my life soon enough.

Here are the highlights of my sandwiches:

1. Good bread texture

2. Fresh ingredients

3. Good spicing

4. Good pricing

5. The sandwiches are a solid 4

I am reluctant to give a "Pho" spot a 4 star review without actually tasting what they are known for. I will repeat...the bahn me sandwiches are a 4 star experience, but I need to try their staple item and then update my review
