I have had a passion for photographing life ever since my father gave me my first camera at the age of 7. Photography for me is a way to tell a story. We have all seen photos that evoke emotion and move the heart. That is the type of photo I seek. Educated as a photojournalist at Western Kentucky University, I took my passion on the road working for over 10 newspapers and many magazines.
My work has been displayed in numerous publications including ESPN Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, New York Post, Martha Stewart Weddings, Habitat for Humanity International, California Thoroughbred, and Matrix. In 2001, I decided to take a leap of faith and returned to Louisville, KY, which is where I was raised.

As a photojournalist, I keep a watchful eye and camera ready to capture the moments that make up who you and your family are. After graduating from college with a degree in Photojournalism and beginning a career in newspapers, someone asked me to shoot a wedding.
