As I am sitting across the table from my two beautiful children, I'm trying to think up a way to write the about me, while silly songs are sung, and nuggets are consumed for a quick lunch after school. Because life changes and keeps us busy, and is why I know it's even more important that we capture those memories.
The births, the babies, the busy toddlers, the grumpy teenagers, the aspiring seniors, and those starting their love journey together. It's all important. Documenting life in all its stages took a turn for me a few years ago just before the birth of our first daughter. At about half way through the pregnancy, I was blessed to document the birth of my dearest friend's son, and fell in love with being able to capture the raw emotional power of birth in timeless images.

I know you have been waiting for this blog post, and I hope. I hope it does not disappoint. We finally met you when I waddled up to a table to introduce myself at Bell's in Kalamazoo, and after talking for a short time, I knew I liked you and would be excited to be. It was at that wedding that I met the Stansberry & Charnitski families, and began a seven year journey of becoming close friends, maybe even "framily" with these wonderful people.
