X-rays are the best way to properly diagnose dental decay. The recommended frequency is 6-12 months for bitewing x-rays, depending on the patient's individual needs.

A full series of xrays is cheaper if you want to get a complete treatment plan or want to know about other issues. A full mouth series includes a panoramic xray, and any/all xrays needed, at no extra cost! Scaling and root planing may be required if signs of bone loss or gum disease is noted at your exam.
