Being a portrait photographer, I am fortunate to be able to take a lot of pictures of my own family and children. I didn't start working as a photographer until 2008 though, and my kids were born in 2004 and 2006. I don't have professional newborn photos of my children, and that is something that I regret every day.
At the time, we chose not to invest in portraits. I look back and can remember the smell of their sweet little baby skin. I remember their tiny fingers and toes. And I have to live off of those memories because I don't have beautiful artistic portraits of them during that "brand new" phase. If I could go back, I would, and I would capture it in the printed image.

Our studio is by appointment only. We are pleased to offer you a personalized experience at the studio. We only take a limited number of clients each month so that we can focus on bringing you a top of the line experience when you come to us.
Newborn

Our boutique studio in Encinitas (North San Diego County) is the perfect space for capturing your newborn baby's first portraits. Our photography studio is designed with newborn photography in mind - we are fully stocked with soft, neutral and colored blankets, wraps, headbands, hats, wood floor backdrops and tiny props to complement your newborn baby for his or her first photo shoot.
Outdoor Maternity

You may choose either a studio maternity photography session in our San Diego based studio, or an outdoor maternity photo shoot session. Both are very unique from one another, and both are very beautiful. For those who prefer outdoors, we have several preferred locations throughout San Diego that we can recommend based on the setting that you are looking for.

Luxe Cake Smash Sessions are one of our favorite offerings. We shoot in three different sets and three different outfits. We have a beautiful selection of clothing for children in 6 month size, 12 month size and 12-18 month size, and clients can choose to use our wardrobe or bring their own outfits.

We love photographing children and families in the great outdoors as well! We offer beach or pathway sessions, and we would love to work with your family! Carlsbad beaches are easily accessible for you and your family. Carlsbad and the surrounding San Diego county areas, offer a beautiful selections of beaches, beautiful bluffs, and a lovely coastlines so that we can find the perfect spot for a photography session.
