The primary reason Dr. Missy became a chiropractor was to be able to work with women and children. She was drawn to the holistic approach of chiropractic after visiting with a chiropractor at a job fair. The chiropractor at the job fair was able to have a family and still pursue a profession he loved.

The process of childbirth can be traumatizing to a child, even during the smoothest of deliveries. Using the same techniques we use to adjust adults, but in a gentler way, we adjust infants to prevent health problems later in their little lives. The amount of pressure necessary to adjust an infant is about the same you would use to determine if a piece of fruit is ripe.
