As a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), I offer individual counseling, couples counseling, and speaking engagements for both small and large groups. I currently operate my own private practice located in Northwest Atlanta. I incorporate tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment-Based Therapy to teach clients "healing and growth through self-awareness and skill development."
In couples counseling my goal is to help clients and their partners restore trust, intimacy and passion in their relationships. Sometimes, destructive habits can get in the way of a healthy relationship or marriage. I use Gottman training methods to assist couples in healing and moving forward from past issues.

We have seen Al for nearly three months. He has helped us discuss our feelings and learn to not be defensive about our shortcomings and more sympathetic to the shortcomings of our spouse. Al helped us learn that disagreements aren't necessarily fights and that with patience, both of us can stay happy in the moment.
