Rusch Design build is our go to for all our own renovations. Over a number of years they have renovated our kitchen and bathrooms, redone our driveway and front and back concrete walkways, refinished all of our hardwood floors, replaced our basement flooring, and repainted our entire home including replacing baseboards. All of their work has been top notch and they go above and beyond to provide personal and responsive service. I highly recommend!

As a retired elementary teacher I rarely give 5 stars. There is always room for improvement in my opinion. In this case though I will. We recently received a complete kitchen and dining room renovation in our 1960’s bungalow from Rusch Design Build. The entire process from the initial assessment to the last time they were in our home was an absolute pleasure. I am very inexperienced in the area of renovations. Everything was well explained and we were met with patience and professionalism throughout every step of the process. Their attention to detail is impeccable!
I now have a much fuller appreciation for what goes into a home renovation and to all the moving parts that need to be kept in motion. Communication during construction was excellent and our concerns and input were always listened to and addressed.
I was also impressed by the expertise of the Rusch team members and of their contractors as well. What a personable team! Thank you for making our kitchen a beautiful and functional space that we love spending time in.

We engaged Rusch to complete a renovation of our kitchen and living room which they completed on budget and exactly on schedule. They were dream contractors: respectful, communicative, talented, and dealt with any hiccups/issues calmly and effectively. We did a lot of research before hiring Rusch and heard from many vendors, customers, etc. that they keep to their schedule. We were skeptical, but our biggest wish was to be back in our kitchen for the holiday season. They delivered on this and so much more. We love our renovated space - they made our vision come to life and made the process almost painless. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We started our journey by needing to replace our “poly b” and do some long overdue renovations. We interviewed builders and decided to place our trust in Rusch. From day 1 they clearly outlined the process and met our expectations all along the way. The design process created a main floor with a kitchen and family room beyond our wildest dreams. We worked through creative ideas with Tawnya, Oliver and Aldrin. They incorporated our ideas and we were frequently told “of course you can do that”. They brought our 1990s styled home into a modern, updated, cosy place we love. During the construction phase we were given weekly updates by our project managers Brad and Brennan. Unexpected issues were dealt with calmly and with ongoing conversations. The trades people were friendly, professional and treated our home with respect. The finished product has created a home we are proud of and are excited to share with family and friends. Rusch earned our trust and we are happy with the relationship we developed with all of them along the way. Thanks for being involved in this journey with us we will forever be grateful. - Tracey and Scott

ARK (Accessibility for Kids) Society is a charity that eases the daily life of children with mobility challenges by providing zero-cost modifications and renovations to their family home. Rusch Design Build partnered with ARK to build a specialty bathroom that allows the mom and daughter to shower together as the daughter has multiple seizures per day and it is unsafe for her to shower alone. Rusch designed and constructed the bathroom at less than 50% of retail cost. The end product is beautiful and the family is so thankful to have this renovation to make life easier for them. Rusch Design Build were great to work with and did high quality work in a timely manner. We look forward to working with them on future projects. Sue Trefry - ARK Co-Chair and Project Lead.

Thank you Rusch team for partnering with us and refreshing our home. The design and colour selection process was efficient, fun, and complete with drawings and renderings. Project Manager Brad is very experienced and was transparent, proactive, responsive, and genuine. He also managed any changes quickly and properly. The Rusch staff carpenters were prompt, clean, and very respectful. Same goes for their preferred subcontractors who were also prompt, clean, and respectful. The whole team was on a first name basis with us (and our neighbours). We strongly recommend giving Oliver and Tawnya a shot at any project. Their projects can be seen on their videos.
All the best Rusch team and we look forward to working with you again.

We worked with Rusch Design to do an entire main floor remodel to our home. The remodel included everything from an entirely new and remodeled kitchen and entryway, new flooring, knock down ceilings, windows & structural changes, addition of pot lights in every room, new electrical panel and painting. Deciding to do a major home renovation is one of the biggest financial and sometimes emotional decisions that we have to make. Choosing a contractor that you can trust and who shares in your vision is critical. After interviewing 4 or 5 different firms, we met with Oliver & Tawyna of Rusch Design and right away we knew that they were a step above everyone else.
We really liked that Rusch acted as a turnkey contractor and were able to handle everything from design, procurement and construction.
The end product exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier.
Key highlights:
- Adherence to schedule and budget
- Excellent quality
- Excellent communication. Calls and emails were always answered promptly. Brad our construction manager was on location multiple times a week and if there was ever a concern or questions it was often addressed in person.
- Excellent change management. Anything that deviated from the original contract was addressed with a detailed change order which outlined costs and any potential schedule impacts.
- The work site was kept clean which was especially important as we were living through the renovation.
We wouldn't hesitate to work with Rusch again.

It was important to me to find a renovator that I could build a comfortable relationship with for the transformation of my Lake Sundance home.
After an exhaustive search for that renovator, I chose Rusch Design Build…and never for a moment have I regretted that choice! Phillip, Oliver, Tawnya and the entire Rusch Team were the perfect “partners” in my renovation project. From their design ideas and selection of finishes to the construction and last-minute alterations, Rusch listened, communicated and were considerate of my ideas and needs. The workmanship and attention to detail, under Phillip and Oliver’s watchful and critical eyes, resulted in an end-product beyond anything I envisioned or could have done on my own. On top of all that it bears mentioning how clean they kept their construction site / my home!
All those horror stories involving disastrous home renos and unscrupulous renovation contractors makes finding a contractor with the integrity, dependability and thoroughness of Rusch Design Build feels a little like winning the lottery.

Writing a review for this company and it’s staff is a true pleasure. Rusch was referred to us by a couple that built a home with them. We were after a main floor/kitchen renovation.
Our biggest concern was leaving the right company in charge while we left the country for the winter.
They were remarkable. This is a company founded on integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
Our neighbors advised that all the workers that came and went from our home were considerate and respectful. We appreciated the communication, the care of our home and openness of the process and changes which arose as the job progressed. Completing the project as forecasted and making themselves all around invaluable to us.
We are so happy with our new and improved home and are looking forward to working with them again, to which we’ve already started discussions on another project.
