Our services are designed for residential projects requiring professional bathroom remodeling, custom showers, tile and natural stone installation, flooring, waterproofing, and decorative architectural glass. We construct shower and bathroom spaces with contemporary design in mind while maintaining attention to functionality, durability, and waterproofing. Available shower installations include curbless and traditional designs, custom benches, niches, pony walls, linear and traditional drains, large-format porcelain and natural stone, Schluter waterproofing systems, heated bathroom flooring, custom glass shower enclosures coordinated with our installation partners, and freestanding bathtubs. We also provide bathroom transformations. Our tile installation team works with porcelain, ceramic, marble, natural stone, mosaics, and large-format tile. Whether the project involves intricate decorative details or oversized porcelain slabs, we emphasize careful preparation, precise layouts, and professional finishing.
For flooring, our residential services cover luxury vinyl plank, engineered and solid hardwood, laminate, porcelain and ceramic floor tile, natural stone flooring, and custom staircase flooring. Demolition, subfloor preparation, concrete leveling, moisture assessment, and suitable underlayment installation are included as needed. Our waterproofing expertise centers on Schluter KERDI and DITRA systems, with particular attention to substrates, moisture management, drainage, and long-term performance. We have more than 22 years of construction experience, including high-end residential construction, custom home projects, complex remodeling, and specialized tile work. Because we are family-owned and operated, we maintain direct communication and personal responsibility throughout our projects. Our qualifications include Schluter certified waterproofing installation, KERDI and DITRA systems training, large-format tile, porcelain slab, and glass tile installation training, and NTCA membership. We also have specialized SICIS Vetrite installation experience involving large-format decorative glass panels and backlit feature walls. We are insured and bonded and serve Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Parrish, Venice, and surrounding Florida communities. Free on-site consultations and estimates are available.

Services
We offer bathroom remodeling for spaces ranging from smaller guest and powder rooms to complete primary bath suites. Each project is scoped according to the existing layout, household needs, selected materials, and required construction work. Our services may include custom showers, accessibility features, new vanities, tile, lighting, flooring, and plumbing-related layout changes. We coordinate the work from start to finish.
We provide custom shower construction using certified waterproofing systems and in-house crews. Our scope may include full demolition, shower and tub removal, surface protection, waterproofing, tile installation, and custom glass. Schluter-KERDI membranes, sealed seams, sloped pans, and bonded drain flanges form the waterproofing assembly, followed by a documented 24-hour flood test before tiling begins.
With more than 22 years of experience and over 1,300 completed projects, we build curbless and walk-in showers with a structured process from planning through completion. Our work can include certified waterproofing, slab preparation, linear drainage, tile, and frameless glass. We provide both curbed and curbless options so the final design reflects the room's conditions.
We install tile and natural stone with a process designed for accurate layouts and dependable results. The pattern is dry-laid on site so cuts can be positioned appropriately before anything is bonded. Substrates are leveled and prepared, cracks are addressed with membranes, and tiles are back-buttered, clipped, and set in full mortar according to applicable TCNA requirements.
Our team installs hardwood, engineered wood, and luxury vinyl plank after evaluating the conditions that will support the finished floor. We measure moisture and flatness, determine the suitable installation system, and perform required preparation before materials are placed. Acclimation follows manufacturer specifications, while expansion gaps, transitions, and final details are addressed as part of the installation.
We handle the preparation work that supports successful tile and flooring installations. Subfloors are made sound and appropriately flat through repair, fastening, patching, or self-leveling, while wet areas receive continuous bonded waterproofing. We also address slab moisture when necessary and verify shower pans with a 24-hour flood test before the finished surface is installed.

We had a great experience with VL Proconstruction on our shower remodel. The work was done professionally, the quality was excellent, and they paid attention to the details throughout the project. They were reliable, easy to work with, and made the remodeling process smooth from start to finish. Were very happy with how the shower turned out and would definitely recommend VL Proconstruction to anyone looking for quality remodeling work.

Abel and his team were amazing to work with. They were the only part of my studio's renovation process that was actually easy. Abel is very kind and easy to communicate with. He helped me choose certain materials and navigate any hiccups we had along the way. I would definitely recommend hiring them.

Abel and his brothers are top notch installers. I have been in the industry for 20 years and know great installers when I see them. I hired them to do a marble backsplash for me and they were extremely clean, calculated, presentable, and meticulous. They do things right the first time and take pride in their knowledge and work. Definitely will be using them again soon on other properties!

After having a new quartz countertop installed, we needed somone to attach our dishwasher to kitchen cabinets. The dishwasher had been connected to the old kitchen counter and screwing anything into quartz is not recommended. VL PRoconstruction not only would take a smaller job like this but actually wrote down step by step how he would do the job. The detailed proposal got him the project. He came this morning and within an hour and a half had the dishwasher connected to the cabinets, leveled and it is now solid as a rock. This guy is a total pro and I recommend him to anyone. Is there anyone out there cheaper? Maybe, but there's nobody better. I'm sure of that!
