Copperhead Construction & Remodeling is our family-owned remodeling company serving homes and businesses throughout the Wasatch Front. Based in Midvale, Utah, we are led by Ralph Kunz Sr. and Ralph Kunz Jr., a father-and-son team involved in the remodeling process from beginning to end. Our company was founded in 2016, supported by Ralph Sr.s construction experience since 1991. We are licensed and insured and provide free quotes for remodeling projects. Clients can also rely on us for permit coordination and submission, project communication, scheduling, and management throughout planning, construction, and closeout. Our full home remodeling service is suited to projects where several spaces require attention or the existing layout no longer supports daily life. We help organize improvements involving comfort, storage, lighting, finishes, and usability within one renovation plan. Depending on the project, related work may include additions, basement improvements, flexible-space conversions, and outdoor living projects. 
We remodel kitchens to make cooking, gathering, and everyday movement easier. Our work can address cramped walkways, insufficient preparation space, limited storage, outdated surfaces, inconvenient appliance locations, and inadequate lighting. After reviewing the existing space and project goals, we coordinate design details, installations, construction, project management, and permit requirements as applicable. 
Our approach to bathroom remodeling begins with understanding what is not working in the room and what you want to improve. Copperhead Construction & Remodeling then manages scheduling, permits when necessary, demolition, construction, finishing, and the final walkthrough for a clear process. 
We help homeowners make better use of basements through organized remodeling and finishing services. Each project begins with an assessment of the existing space, intended function, and desired layout before the scope and schedule are established. Our team then manages construction, finish coordination, permit requirements when applicable, and communication about the project's progress. 
Our approach to home additions focuses on creating usable space that feels like a natural part of the existing home. We assist with defining project goals, reviewing scope, estimating costs, coordinating permits, and planning construction. Depending on the project, we also coordinate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural needs, and finishes associated with the expanded space. 
Our approach to deck construction begins with understanding how the outdoor space should function. We consider layout, traffic flow, railing requirements, material preferences, weather exposure, waterproofing, shade, and long-term maintenance. Whether the project involves building a new deck, replacing an aging structure, or adding a covered outdoor area, we develop a practical scope around those needs.

I cannot say enough good things about copperhead construction. We hired them to do a pretty massive project that involved tearing down multiple existing structures and then fully rearchitecting our roof. Every step along the way, they over communicated costs, what to expect next, timing, when they would be on site, etc. They proactively thought ahead of things wed likely care about and brought them up as options to us (electrical, shades, etc) and took all the stress off of us.
Their precision and attention to detail is beyond incredible. There were plenty of opportunities in this project to take a short cut and I truly dont think they took a single one - in fact I think they took the longer, harder route multiple times just to ensure high quality.
Most importantly, everyone on this team - including their subcontractors - was truly incredible to work with. Everyone was very nice, everyone over communicated, and everyone is clearly skilled at what they do.
We just wrapped this project and weve already hired them back for more, thats how much we love them!

We did a major remodel of our upstairs. I cannot recommend these guys enough. The work was excellent and right on schedule. They are honest and communication was great. We had to have some warranty work done, and they came out within a week and fixed the problem. They made sure we were completely satisfied. Home remodels are extremely stressful, but they made it easy.

Copperhead Construction remodeled our entire basement along with a few other repairs around our home, and now the basement looks better than the upstairs! I wish I had them remodel the whole house. Their quality of work is too notch, and they are my go to for all construction work that I can't or won't want to do myself.
