If you are looking for an electrician to use, Blackhawk Electric is who you should call! Damien came out for an estimate and gave us great suggestions to accomplish what we wanted. The estimate was spot on, and didnt change once the job was done. Travis was able to execute those suggestions and created exactly what we wanted and more! Travis listened to me, and took the time to reach out to my husband multiple times to make sure the project was correct. The comminication was outstanding! We are beyond happy with Blackhawk Electric! We will definitely be using them for all electrical needs in the future!

They installed a Generlink generator transfer switch, which is a meter-based all-in-one unit. Brian, the owner, and James, the installer, we're very professional and helpful. They were on time and had the permit, coordinated Mid-American to be here to disconnect the power and reinstall the meter tamper ring. James took the time to explain to me and look at my generator to show me how it would work with the Generlink. I would recommend Blackhawk Electric.

After purchasing a new home, I needed Blackhawk Electric install a new whole house generator & whole house surge protector as they have done at 2 of my previous homes. They then returned to do switch relocations and dusk-to-dawn connections for my outside lights. I will always choose Blackhawk Electric for my electrical needs!

The Blackhawk team was incredible to work with! We had a number of light fixtures and fan installation, smoke/co detector replacement, 3-way and dimmer switch installation and ring doorbell. He clarified some things regarding the generator and we also talked about "what ifs???" He was kind and patient and took his time with me. Five stars for just that. *****

I went with a 18kw generator and they supplied the EMP shields that I additionally wanted installed. I didn't have any doubts that I made the right decision with product and company.
Installation day was flawless. They arrived on time and went to work. These guys know what they are doing and know how to effectively communicate with each other and the homeowner. They are amazing and you will be a happy homeowner too.
