"The work of change does not happen in isolation. It occurs within bodies, between people, and via the spaces that hold us." - Reed Everingham
Reed Everingham Counselling
We provide professional psychotherapy, counselling, couples coaching, and clinical supervision informed by a deep respect for human resilience and growth. Our work is guided by Reed Everingham, a psychotherapist and clinical counsellor who also teaches within the Therapy Studies unit at Western Sydney University. The practice supports individuals who are experiencing overwhelm or feeling immobilised, as well as therapists and counsellors seeking high-quality supervision that enhances clinical skill, reflective capacity, and therapeutic presence.

Our clinical work is firmly grounded in person-centred, trauma-informed, and gender-affirmative principles. We intentionally cultivate environments of safety and trust, allowing space for insight, connection, and forward movement. Supervision is approached as a collaborative process, emphasising competence, relational depth, and ethical alignment. Reed holds a Masters degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling and is registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and the Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

Services
Our work with individuals prioritises safety, collaboration, and authenticity at every stage. We support personal development by helping you explore recurring challenges across different areas of life. Using a person-centred approach, we do not offer advice or diagnosis. Instead, we guide reflection that encourages lasting change and a deeper understanding of self.
We offer couples coaching as a supportive and neutral space to reconnect, repair, and collaborate. Sessions allow partners to explore challenges such as communication difficulties, trust ruptures, or significant life transitions. Working together in therapy supports meaningful growth and shared understanding. This process encourages renewed connection, deeper trust, and a more collaborative relationship.
