My story starts on July 4th a couple years ago. I was hospitalized and waking up to realize I needed legal representation, and not even knowing where to begin or how to find someone who could help guide and support me through that process. I was fortunate , no blessed, that Charles and Nick were only 1 of 2 law firms I was able to connect with that day, and after speaking with Charles, I knew in my gut he and Nick were the right choice. From that very first day, their presentation of their law firm and their character held true and surpassed my expectations in every way. I remember walking out from a specialists office in an attempt to get a second opinion and feeling so defeated by how that visit went that I had reached out to Charles via text to tell him I didn't want to continue with this case. He and Nick called me moments later and asked what happened, as I explained everything that had transpired in that visit and how low that doctor had made me feel, what I got from them was genuine care for my emotional state and confirmation that no one should have to go through what I was experiencing. They lifted my spirits and assured me they were with me every step of the way and to not allow anyone to diminish my sense of worth, and to not question my decision to fight back. That was a turning point for me, I went from regretting my decision in deciding to "lawyer up" to feeling encouraged and sure footed that I was heading in the right direction and with the perfect team by my side. The next couple of years, they stayed planted firmly on my side, always supportive and caring, on more than one occasion Charles would tell me to text them anytime, not just about the case and my health, but in general how life was going. They showed me by actions, they were genuinely interested in me as a person and that I was not just another number lost in a law firm representing a paycheck. Did I mention we won my case???!!! Literally would not have happened without them, how many lawyers do you know that are humble enough to know they also needed support and asked me if it was ok to bring in another Law Firm, Maher Law Firm. This meant reduced pay for them, and they were quick to tell me this was the least of their concern, they just wanted to do what was best for me!!! I was valued to them, not as a monetary gain, but as a person they wanted to champion and at the end of the day, the Good Guys won! I am so grateful for you both, Charles ,Nick.....I could write a book, which I think I almost have lol. Throughout this journey, Nick communicated with me frequently when there is movement, and was boldly honest when things were going to take a little longer than Id want it to be.
