Our team follows strict manufacturer specifications for proper ventilation and energy efficiency.
Roof repairs
We specialize in emergency and scheduled roof repairs for storm damage, leaks, and wear-related issues. Our technicians use advanced diagnostic tools to identify hidden problems and provide permanent solutions with matching materials. Services include shingle replacement, flashing repair, and ventilation improvements that prevent future water intrusion and structural damage.
Siding installation
Our siding installation service protects homes from weather intrusion while improving curb appeal. We repair loose panels and install new siding systems that resist moisture penetration and pest infestation. Using durable materials with proper sealing techniques, we ensure long-lasting protection against Michigan's seasonal temperature extremes and precipitation cycles.
Gutter installation
Proper gutter systems are critical for directing rainwater away from roofs and foundations. We install seamless gutters with leaf protection systems that prevent clogs while maintaining proper water flow. Our installations include downspout extensions and splash blocks to protect basements from water damage during heavy rainfall events.

Available 24/7 for urgent roofing needs, our emergency service responds to storm damage, sudden leaks, and structural threats. Hecht Home Improvement LLC replaced our roof, gutters and downspouts in spring 2024. Chris Hecht, the owner, was so wonderful to work with and the cost was reasonable! They got the job done in one day and did a thorough cleanup before they left. Chris even moved a downspout that wasnt in the proper location and had been causing water leaks in a corner of the basement. Weve had a dry basement ever since.

It rained the night of the install, and Chris came out personally the next morning to check on the gutters/downspouts and to make sure we were satisfied with the new roof. They really did a great job, and our roof is beautiful! Couldnt be happier!

The owner of Hect Home Improvement goes above and beyond to make sure they get the job done for you. We are grateful because they not only installed a new roof, but he also helped us figure out a humidity problem that had nothing to do with the roof. We recommend them for pricing, service and work ethic.

They completed the job in a timely manor as well only taking 3 days for tear off to underlayment and shingle applications. I would recommend Chris and his crew in the future and may be going back for some gutters in a few years. Thanks Chris for all you and your crews hard work. Brian and Rashell Chambers

I have a large roof (72 square) with quite a bit of 12:1 pitch. I had 15+ companies come out to quote replacing it. Most of them didnt have a crew that could/would work on my roof. Chris got the job and did a tremendous job! My roof looks amazing, and Im confident it will last 30+ years with the high quality shingles I selected. Chris did such a great job I plan to hire him to replace the roof on an investment property Im buying. Im selective when it comes to giving recommendations. I highly recommend Chris.

Very Happy with Hect Home Improvement services they provided. Chris came out right away after I called him regarding water damage caused by a leak in the siding into my kitchen floor. He was able to fit me in his schedule while other companies I called said they could not come out for several months. Chris and his crew knocked out the job in two days and the invoice came in less than the original quote. I definitely would use Hect home improvement again for any house related issues. Thanks Chris!
