I needed an unreasonably fast turnaround time on a tune up for a holiday present. and David somehow delivered ahead of schedule!? Incredible. Everyone at Vez was thoughtful, courteous, and informative. 100/10

I needed a guitar setup for a fender squire strat that I've had for over 30 years. I turned it into a partscaster because the old neck was just so worn out and my kid didn't take care of the guitar, so I took it back into my possession. Dave was knowledgeable and a great technician and ran the whole gamut of fret work, graphite nut installation, polish, filing, and neck alignment.

The only minor complaint I would have is that this business is small and Dave is a very busy guy. Wait times for work to be done are a tad long but the wait is worth it. Hours of operation are a minor inconvenience but totally understandable as this is only a 2 person operation. I would recommend this place for guitar tech needs.

I've gotten 3 setups and a repair here as well as lessons. His work is excellent and he is a trustworthy technician. The lessons have helped me grow as a player. This is my go to for work on my instruments. Parking is available for free in the structure in back. They offer a selection of strings and picks if you just need some gear quick.

I challenged myself to learn guitar in January 2018. Fortunately, Yelp helped me find Vez Guitar Academy. Dave is a very knowledgeable instructor who encourages his students to get outside their comfort zone. I tend to be a little on the uptight side, but Dave got me to relax and just go with the flow. So whenever I obsessed that my chords didn't sound clean, he kept telling me to keep practicing and it would get cleaner.

Guess what, he was RIGHT. So while I still may be learning, I can hear the progress. Patience is key, and practice is a must. As a full time working guy, I can say you'll need to be willing to practice whenever you can. Don't have a guitar, not a problem. They have some nice guitars for sale. I started off with a cheap guitar i got from eBay.

It didn't last so I bought one from Vez Guitar Academy. Forget resolutions for 2019, challenge yourself to learn to play guitar. Oh, and Mindy is awesome. She'll help you schedule your lesson. Vez Guitar Academy is my happy place on Thursday nights! Call them! Book your lesson now!

Took my first lesson. As an older student not sure how I'll do, much harder than I expected but Dave is awesome! Super patient and encouraging. Took the free trial class, take advantage and try it, was the full 30 minutes! I'm starting my first 8 week session. Dave only does private one on one which is awesome because the care and direction for students is individual making the environment more comfortable.

Definitely not the studio where they pack in students to make an extra buck. Super affordable for what you get! Now Mindy, his assistant is awesome! She is just on top of it making this whole process easy and enjoyable. She will answer Alllll your questions. A great great place to start your music aspirations!

I really like this place. Dave is very professional, but also laid back. He's very knowledgeable and has played and worked with some very known talented artists. What I really like about this place isn't just what you learn here, he's also a 1 stop shop! He does repairs, pickup install, all that as well. And he's much cheaper, and does a much better job (and gets it done in good time) than the last guy I was using. He's even teaching me theory & how to read music! Fair prices overall, I'm really glad I decided to do this!

As I said in my previous review, Vez Guitar Academy is a permanent stay on my schedule and it still is. It will be for a long while. You want to learn guitar? Struggling? Try out a new mentor and teacher. Dave will guide you and make you the best guitar player you can be. Why bother with the rest, when Vez Guitar is the best. (uhuh yes, I just did that) That's all folks.
