We rescued a toy poodle here. The place was clean, the staff was kind and efficient. The dog now has a happy forever home!

I wish there was a ten star review choice! I can not possibly say enough wonderful things about Godbey Creek Rescue, Mariam and the entire staff/volunteers. We rescued a dog in our park and sheltered him until we learned of this rescue. Otis was accepted into their program and has recently been placed with his new family. The Godbey family works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and find safe environments for every dog. They are all heroes in my book!

This adorable puppy was found in our yard. We were unable to keep her permanently. I reached out to Godbey Creek and they were so helpful. We kept her until a perfect family could be found for her. We were kept informed of the process and have even received updates on her. I would definitely recommend Godbey Creek to anyone who asks.

By far, the nicest rescue we've seen and been to. The facilities are clean, the dogs have an incredible amount of space to run, and the staff is extremely kind and friendly. They also offer boarding services to help offset the costs of a rescue. Couldn't recommend this place more.

This place is spectacular! They are extremely loving and compassionate toward all of their animals that they care for. I have never encounter such a rescue that will go above and beyond to properly train their dogs prior to being adopting out. In addition, run an extensive background screening to make sure that the right owner, environment, and work life/career aligns best for the dog(s).

The dogs at the rescue have acres of land to get plenty of exercise, spacious room to stay in on their downtime, and have a consistent eating/training schedule. If you're looking to bring home a new loving member of the family, rest assure that this place will take care of you and your new fur baby! I highly recommend you check them out!

Godbey Creek Canine Rescue is an advocate for animals. They take the time to get to know the animal's personality, temperament, and behavior and do not adopt out until the right fit is found. Mariam's love and devotion to the cause is phenomenal! The rescue finds the absolute correct forever home!

Work on appointment bases due to pandemic issues.but nice place for boarding and adopting pets.

I am so thankful to have found Miriam and Godbey Creek Canine Rescue! My son had 2 deaf blue/red heelers and needed to rehome them. We had tried other rescues but weren't comfortable with leaving the dogs there. I called Miriam on a Saturday and left a message and she called me back on Sunday and said she thought she could help me. We took the dogs for a meet & greet that next week.

We were very impressed with Godbey Creek Canine Rescue! There was beautiful, rolling acres and acres of fenced in property and everything was so clean and organized. You could tell the dogs would be happy there until they found a good home. I knew after that meeting that Miriam would only let them go to the best home possible. It didn't take long before she called and said they had found the perfect family! I'm so thankful she helped us and I have no doubt that Axel & Diesel are living their best lives! Such a beautiful, clean Rescue facility and grounds. So much care and love given to the animals. We adopted our sweet pup from there and you can tell she was well cared for and loved while waiting to be adopted.

Mariam is quick to respond and extremely flexible for scheduling times to meet. She cares so much about the animals. She and her staff take the time to learn about the animal's personality and ensure they find the best home for that particular animal. The facilities are pristine, we were so impressed the first time we came to the rescue. If I were a dog without a home, this is where I would want to be!

They have play pastures and multiple trails for walks. They even ensure that the animal's are appropriately trained so they have the best chance and finding their forever homes. We are so thankful that there are people like Mariam who care so deeply for animals in need.

Adopted Tilly, formerly known as Tracie three years ago. Wonderful, first class organization. I have recommended them to many people. They are caring, professional, and follow up after the adoption.

Great place to find dogs a new home! They did an amazing job with me 2 deaf heelers that I couldn't keep. Miriam was great to deal with! Very professional! Highly recommended!
