The National Kennel Club has been in operation since 1964, assisting dog owners with registering all varieties of purebred dogs. Our organization is dedicated to maintaining the integrity and supporting the sport of purebred dogs. Our goal is to improve the breeding of purebred dogs and to promote competition in a variety of dog related activities with a family-friendly sporting atmosphere. We license All-Breed Shows, American Bulldog Shows and events for Beagles, Coon & Squirrel Dogs, Bird Dogs, and Fox Beagles, along with other dog-related events.
Services
At the National Kennel Club, we maintain a comprehensive dog registry of purebred dogs. We register all dog breeds, and we strongly encourage you to complete the registration process. The purpose of our dog registry is to improve the breeding of purebred dogs and provide dog owners with helpful information.
With a purebred dog, you can trace its pedigree back to its ancestors. One of the ways you can do this is by completing the dog registration process and obtaining proper pedigree papers. Not only can this help you protect your dog’s bloodline, but it can also help you qualify your dog for canine sporting events.
To register your American Bulldog with us at the NKC, the dog must be strictly 100 percent American Bulldog. The 7/8 rule does not apply here, and any breeder who attempts to introduce other blood into the breed will not be eligible to register their American Bulldog. We would be happy to provide you with more American Bulldog information and tell you all about our services. Contact our office today to ask us your questions and receive additional American Bulldog information.
Beagles are wonderful dogs for families. They are incredibly lively, affectionate, friendly, cheerful, and lots of fun for kids. They get along well with people and strangers, and because they were bred to be in packs, they also get along well with other dogs. If you own a purebred beagle, we encourage you to register your dog with us at the National Kennel Club.
If you are a new owner of a purebred puppy, one very important task you should take care of is registering with us at the National Kennel Club. We maintain a puppy registry and accept all breeds of dogs, which isn’t something that all kennel clubs can claim.
