At Hope House Foundation, our organization originally started when Dr. Lee Beth Lindquist had a dream to help homeless women and their children in the Huntersville, North Carolina. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization established in March 2005. Within four years of our inception, the community embarked upon a major renovation led by the Lake Norman Home Builders Association to construct a two-level facility to house up to 12 residents for up to six months. We opened this facility in December 2009 with temporary assistance from The Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte.
Services
If you are looking for opportunities to donate to charity, we encourage you to give your donation to our organization. Your donation will be put to good use and will be used to help women and children directly in your local community who are ready to make a change and make transformative life choices.
If you want to get involved with non-profit charity organizations, we encourage you to support our cause to help those in your community. We appreciate every donation we receive, whether this is in the form of funding, time, or sharing talents. For more information about how to donate to our organization or to learn more about our mission, please contact us today.
The charitable donations you make to our nonprofit make a real difference in the lives of the women we serve. The operation of our transitional housing on a day-to-day basis depends on the generosity of our friends and neighbors here in the Huntersville, North Carolina.
We appreciate the community support of other caring organizations in our area. For example, we proudly work with The Ada Jenkins Center to provide case management services, career support, life skills training, and affordable housing options to the women who come and live at our housing center.
Our mission to end the increasing problem of homelessness in our community is ongoing, and our development projects are making a difference in the lives of the women we serve. For more information about our development projects and how you can help, contact us today.
