Kurt Spohn started Action Auto in 1975 after learning the auto repair business from both his father and grandfather, who also owned repair shops in south Minneapolis. We started as a small two bay shop and in 2002, expanded our building to almost three times its original size. Today, the shop is run by Kurt and his two sons, Jon and Clint.

Whether you need an oil change, or have a problem with your brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, engine, transmission, or anything else on your vehicle, we can get it fixed and get you back on the road! If you need a loaner car, just ask.
