Willan Academy of Music was founded in 2015 by Kenji Haba, classical guitarist. Willan is derived from "will". The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but at Willan we believe in guiding the students' will to transform their musical gifts to the highest degree of excellence possible.

Violin Lessons

All of our violin teachers hold a college degree in Music. We are not only professional musicians but also educators. We understand that each child learns differently, and therefore we customize a curriculum for each student so that every child can successfully learn their musical instrument. At Willan Academy of Music, every student gets TWO performance opportunities during a semester.
Cello Lessons

Kristen is an accomplished cellist and music educator who has been teaching private lessons since 2009. She has helped her students develop technique, confidence in playing, note reading, orchestral and improvisational skills. Kristen received her training at the Boston Conservatory, earning a Bachelor of Music in String Performance (2008) and a Masters of Music in Music Education (2010.)

The best thing about this school is the number one ideal: that the kids enjoy playing music. My son is 13 and has been taking guitar lessons with Kenji Haba for over a year, and he comes out of each of his lessons envigorated. Mr. Haba's understanding approach to teaching the guitar has been an effective tool to reach a child who was shut down to other music teachers before.
