
In Summer 2020, the CCATT Board of Directors met virtually over the course of multiple days to embark on a strategic planning process that would help guide CCATT's short-term and long-term efforts. This process allowed CCATT leadership to reexamine the mission, vision, and goals of the association.

During the 87th Texas Legislature, TACC advanced SB 1230 by Senator Larry Taylor and House sponsor Rep. Leo Pacheco which established the Commission on Community College Finance. The Commission will make recommendations for consideration by the 88th Texas Legislature to establish a state funding formula and funding levels sufficient for sustaining viable community college education and training offerings throughout the state.
