EMDR Therapy
EMDR Therapy at Ajana addresses PTSD and trauma through evidence-based protocols. Using bilateral stimulation, our certified therapists help clients reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional impact. This approach integrates well with other modalities to treat anxiety, depression, and chronic stress, fostering resilience and adaptive coping strategies.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
DBT at Ajana combines skill-building in mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Our clinicians guide clients through structured 6-24 week programs to manage intense emotions and improve relationships. This therapy benefits those with borderline personality traits, eating disorders, or self-harm tendencies through practical, research-backed techniques.
Teletherapy
Teletherapy services provide accessible mental health care across Texas. Using secure platforms, clients receive EMDR, CBT, or DBT from licensed therapists. This option suits busy professionals, rural residents, or those preferring home-based sessions while maintaining consistent therapeutic engagement and progress tracking.
Trauma-Informed Yoga
Trauma-Informed Yoga integrates movement and mindfulness to address trauma's physical manifestations. Led by a registered yoga teacher with specialized training, sessions restore bodily autonomy and reduce hypervigilance. This complementary practice enhances traditional therapy outcomes by fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation through gentle, choice-driven movement.
LGBTQ+ Counseling
LGBTQ+ Counseling at Ajana offers affirming care for sexual and gender minorities. Therapists specialize in identity exploration, discrimination stress, and relationship dynamics. Using intersectional frameworks, we address unique mental health challenges while celebrating clients' authentic selves through personalized, stigma-free therapeutic partnerships.

Leah Singer's Mindfulness Hygiene Series expanded my understanding and awareness of what it means to truly be mindful. It allowed me the freedom and safe space to discover and process different aspects of my experiences, and how I could use mindfulness as a tool in my relationships with myself, others, and the world around me. Being that this was a group of people in practice with me, I was not only able to receive different perspectives that added even more value to my new discoveries about how to be mindful but I was also able to be in authentic connection with others.

I've been seeing SJ since October 2019, and she is easily the most educated, compassionate, and helpful therapist I've ever had. It's clear that she genuinely cares, and I appreciate how she remembers every detail I share and helps me feel very valued as her client. She is constantly sharing studies, books, and sending me helpful handouts and "homework" (that I requested!) that have furthered my journey more than I've ever been able to achieve elsewhere. If you love learning the scientific reasoning behind things, definitely recommend SJ!! I have also participated in Leah's Mindfulness and More

Leahs authentic and effervescent leadership shines when it comes to sharing about self-care. I had the pleasure of participating in the Self-Care Sundays and the Mindfulness Hygiene series. She offered positive acceptance of where I was at, while also inspiring new insight into opportunities for growth in my self-care journey.
