I've had a long career in making custom furniture. I had (and still have) great clients, but after a teaching gig in Brooklyn and a few years of teaching private lessons, I realized I was happiest when sharing my skills. In the summer of 2019 I moved my shop to American St. to make teaching my primary focus. Classes are designed to mimic how small run production shops move through their projects. There is a heavy emphasis on design and I push students to see strategies and methods that they can apply to any project.
