Services
Sustainable Landscape Design
We create custom outdoor environments that balance aesthetics with environmental responsibility. Our designs incorporate native plants, permeable surfaces, and water-efficient systems to reduce ecological impact while enhancing property value. Each project begins with a consultation to understand client preferences, site conditions, and budget constraints, ensuring tailored solutions that thrive in Southern California's climate.
Drip Irrigation Installation
Our high-efficiency irrigation systems maximize water conservation through smart controllers and weather-based sensors. We design and install drip networks that deliver precise hydration to plant roots while complying with local water regulations. This approach reduces waste by up to 60% compared to traditional sprinkler systems, maintaining healthy landscapes with minimal resource use.
Custom Deck Construction
We build durable, stylish decks using composite materials, reclaimed wood, and steel. Our designs create functional entertainment areas that complement architectural styles while requiring minimal maintenance. Certified TrexPro installers ensure premium material performance, with options for integrated lighting, planters, and weather-resistant finishes that withstand coastal climates.
Native Plant Gardens
Our plant selections prioritize drought-tolerant species that thrive in local conditions with reduced water needs. We incorporate edible plants and fruit trees to create productive, beautiful spaces that support local biodiversity. Each garden balances color, texture, and seasonal interest while minimizing chemical inputs and maintenance requirements.
Outdoor Lighting Design
We install low-voltage LED systems that enhance safety, security, and ambiance after dark. Our designs highlight architectural features, pathways, and garden elements using energy-efficient fixtures with long lifespans. From subtle accent lighting to festive market lights, we create layered illumination schemes that extend outdoor usability year-round.

I had such a good experience working with Weeds on a small portion of my backyard that I hired them six months later to completely landscape the entire front yard, which is now the Envy of all my neighbors because it is sustainable, supported only by drip irrigation and an electronic, water-saving irrigation controller. Nancy was a dream to work with. Accommodated my concerns, including budget, desire for color, questions, Etc always went above and beyond.

We hired Weeds several years ago to redesign our grass yard to a drought-resistant, native garden. Nancy and her crew had great ideas, worked with our preferences, and conducted the work professionally and thoroughly. We've been happy ever since. Her team has come back from time to time for some additional work and we are always satisfied because Nancy listens to us and works with us to make it work. We highly recommend Weeds for anyone redesigning their garden/yard.

Great company to work with. Nancy put together a beautiful palette for our garden. Knowing exactly what it would look like when the plants and trees matured...and gently helped us to understand that less was more because gardens mature! Her right hand man, Kobi, is a wonderful addition. Listening to them talk about plants and designing our outdoor area was a great experience. Thumbs up!
