Aikan (pronounced "I Can") Performing Arts, provides high-quality performing arts training to youth and adults in a safe, fun, and friendly online environment. Since its inception in 2009, Aikan Performing Arts has reached over 1,000 students and workshop participants in the Philadelphia area. Aikan Performing Arts' acting classes are designed to teach participants how to become working actors!
Our dance classes give participants the opportunity to sharpen their skills or learn new dance genres. We offer workshops in various locations that focus on specific areas of performing arts as well as fundraising events for our initiatives. Aikan Performing Arts offer specialized performing arts classes that are taught by professional teaching artists. By having instructors who are currently working in their respective craft, students have the opportunity to learn the business through instructors with firsthand experience. Our classes are always energetic and have a reputation for producing real results!

One of the keys to Aikan Performing Arts' success is the dedicated instructors and guest speakers who all have extensive work experience in the entertainment business. Our instructors expect participants to come to class on-time, prepared and ready to engage in class. Actor, writer and director Nakia Dillard is a Philadelphia-bred creative soul, as evident by his love of arts of all disciplines.
