Whether you're going to be out of town on vacation, or need us to walk your dog during the day while you're at work, your pets will be in good hands with Hound for Hound. We are insured, bonded, trained in pet first aid & CPR, and able to provide excellent references. If you're going to be out of town, our in-home pet sitting services will keep your cat, dog, and other small pets happy, healthy, and ready to greet you when you return home.
While we are there caring for your pets, we will also be happy to bring in the mail and newspapers, water indoor and outdoor plants, change the lighting, take out the trash, and other small tasks to ensure your home does not look vacant.

I grew up in Ohio taking care of several dogs and cats. I left Ohio to go to college in Boston. That was a dog free period that I try to forget- haha. My wife and I got two dogs, Sam and Brewer, from a local animal shelter when we moved to Austin. Before long, my spare time became happily devoted to the pups.

This is a meeting for us to get acquainted, go over necessary paperwork, and for me to get to know what you and your pets need. There is no charge for this visit. We will be sure your cat gets plenty of attention, and whatever else is needed to make him or her happy and comfortable while you're gone.

He did a great job communicating with me when I was gone, texting me with updates and leaving me notes back at the house. He would stay for a little bit each time and entertain the cats, gradually winning the affection of my one cat who's a bit more wary of strangers.
