Dancetrax is an award-winning Wedding DJ service serving Chicago, Milwaukee & Northwest Indiana since 1977. The majority of our events each year are weddings. However, we still love to DJ holiday and corporate events. With so much experience, we can provide you with nothing less than the highest level of service for your event.
Dancetrax was founded back in 1977 by Mario Arcari, a local band leader, vocalist songwriter and music producer. Discorama/Dancetrax as it was known back then was already ahead of its time developing and incorporating techniques that are still being used by most Mobile DJs today i.e. Our philosophy is quite simple: Quality over Quantity.

With our Laptops loaded with over 20,000 Karaoke songs, there is music for every age and from every genre including an extensive collection of Standards, Show Tunes, 50's, 60's & 70's, 80's, 90's etc. all the way through to the top hits of today.

A. Our DJs dress not like a groomsman in a Bridal Party, but more like a well dressed guest at your event. Versace, Armani or Hugo Boss. We like to look as good as we sound. A fine tailored suit and tie, elegant and sophisticated. A. Our DJs usually arrive about an hour and half before the event starts to guarantee that we are completely set-up before your guests arrive.

Along with providing Wedding DJ services, we are also event planners that help Brides & Grooms plan every facet of their wedding. Reception planning starts with the cocktail hour, introduction of the bridal party, toasts, cake cutting, first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, bouquet/garter all the way through to the last dance.
Ceremony Music

Is your Wedding Ceremony in the same location as the reception? If so, why not have Dancetrax Mobile DJ Entertainment provide music at a fraction of the cost of live musicians?. We can play songs of your choice or we can provide suggestions that will sound as good if not better than a live group. If your ceremony is in a separate room/area or perhaps even outside, then a separate smaller system is required.

DJ Todd Arcari has over 20 years of Mobile DJ experience. Since the age of sixteen, the Chicago native has lived for the weekends spinning records at parties. Starting back in high school, Todd honed his skills by working all kinds of parties and events and even dabbled a little in acting on TV. Around 1994, Todd started to focus on Weddings and perfecting his skills as a Mobile DJ. I love doing weddings!
