We have been teaching one-time studio sessions for families & Santa Fe visitors, wedding parties & reunions & corporate groups & solo travelers, for many years. Groups from one to about eight people work great - let us know if your group may be larger. We have six ongoing weekly classes. Five of these are beginning potter's wheel, and usually, one is a glaze formulation class or a handbuilding class.
These are small & flexible sessions, great if you're making your first-ever pieces or if you have some experience. We offer studio access for 'graduates' of our classes & to others who have clay experience. Plan your independent work sessions on the signup calendar - stoneware clay & bisque firing, as well as glaze firing for about 10 moderate-sized pieces per month, is included.

Our classes are small, easy-going, ever-changing, taught by experienced teachers who love clay. Weekday & weekend, daytime & evening, our potter's wheel classes are great if you're making your very first pieces in the studio, or, if you have a little experience too. If you are quite experienced let us know & we can place you in a section of the class with others who are working on advanced projects.
Scholarship
Report
Let us know if you may be able to use scholarship funds to begin or continue your participation at the studio!. We have been teaching classes & providing studio access for independent work for many years now, & as we went through the recent shut down (remember?) If you may be in this category, we are happy that you may get in touch so we can help, whenever possible.
Internship
Report
The studio relies on help from several interns who keep things running through the week & weekend. The term is usually 3 months - this is flexible though. Interns work in the 'A3' classroom studio, cleaning, helping out, loading the electric kiln, restocking supplies. In exchange, sign up to use the studio on your own during the day, evening, weekend, whenever you're free.
