YAEL Designs was founded by the visionary designer Yehouda Saketkhou, known for creating award-winning one-of-a-kind fine jewelry pieces that reflect his unstoppable imagination and possess exceptional quality meant to last for generations. Yehouda grew up in Iran and France, and was deeply influenced by these cultures and their distinct traditions.
Born into a family of jewelry makers, Yehouda began his journey into the magical world of creating jewelry as a young boy apprenticing at his uncle's jewelry shop after his family moved to California. Yehouda's younger sister Yael was the inspiration behind the founding of YAEL Designs in 2001.

I’m obsessed with my ring. I never imagined myself to be the girly bride who cares about stuff like that but it turns out that was ridiculous. Of course the ring matters. It’s the symbol of our union that we carry on our person every day for the rest of our lives. That is the most permanent thing next to a tattoo.

I am a recurrent customer of Yael Designs because they are doing excellent work on jewelry. This time, they help me to do a pair of diamond earrings. My experience with Yael Designs is always positive mainly because (1) they are very professional (2) they are the best of the best in the jewelry business (3) the management team is very kind and personal.

I LOVE my ring! I can't stop staring at it. Yehouda is clearly an expert with excellent taste and skill in jewelry design. I had no idea what I wanted and he patiently worked with me to figure it out while explaining different cuts and styles. He went out of his way to make it happen even during covid and was so smooth. even though I participated in designing my perfect ring I was still surprised during the proposal. After I sent in my choice he worked the rest of the way with my partner in secret to get me my perfect proposal. The ring is so much more beautiful than I imagined and the price

We really loved our Burning Man engagement ring. It is so beautifully designed and everyone loves it. Truly one of a kind! There are a lot of choices for jewelry in San Francisco, and Yael is by far the best that we have experienced. Their custom engagement ring design services brought our dreams to life with impeccable craftsmanship. The precision of the ring design is extremely impressive. Yehouda was incredibly helpful with explaining the pros and cons of all of the different options. I'm very glad we chose Yael for such an important piece and will definitely be going to them for all of my future jewelry purchases.

Yehouda is a magician! My engagement ring came out exactly how I wanted it, with every minor detail perfectly included. The quality of the piece and the entire design process was fantastic. Not only did I get the most amazing engagement ring from them that till this day I get stopped on the street for but they let me borrow the most amazing pair of earrings for my wedding that we were just fabulous! We came to Yael to pick an engagement ring and I was completely overwhelmed by all the possibilities! They all were so beautiful and I had a really hard time picking just the right one. I think it took me an hour of going back and forth between my favorite ones, but now, more then a year later, I'm still absolutely in love with my ring and do get so many compliments on it!

The owner of the business, Yehouda, is very friendly and their great selection of amazing ring designs was impressive. Yael Designs is simply the best diamond jewelry shop in the Bay Area. The quality, the selection, the originality - all surpass others dramatically. I've been shopping for an engagement ring for a long time, and what I ended up buying from Yael was considered "impossible" by some of the other diamond dealers I've talked to. I was able to find the exact fancy colored diamond that I wanted and couple it with a beautiful setting.

When I needed bridal jewelry to go with my wedding dress, I came to Yael Designs for help - I've heard of their bridal jewelry collection and wanted to check it out.
All I had to do was describe the dress and Yehouda, the designer, picked the perfect thing - matching necklace and earrings with white and yellow diamonds that looked totally amazing with my hair and tanned skin (will post pic soon).
Most pieces are loaded with diamonds, so they aren't cheap. But hey, I guess that's why they call it "fine" jewelry :)
