He completed his residency at Oregon Health Sciences University and is Board Certified in Otorlaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

An otolaryngologist is a physician trained in the medical and surgical management of ear, nose and throat diseases and disorders. Commonly referred to as ENTs, they identify and treat diseases of the ears, nose, sinuses, larynx, mouth, throat and structures of the face and neck. Otolaryngologists complete up to 15 years of college and post-graduate.

Dr. Hertler was raised and attended school in Wisconsin. As an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he earned his bachelor's degree in zoology. He was honored as the Outstanding Male Senior as a result of his academic and extracurricular achievement. At the University of Wisconsin Medical School, he served as class co-president and was elected to the AOA (Alpha Omega) honor society.

Dr. Bronsdon received his Doctorate Degree in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 and completed his externship year in Salem, Oregon at Willamette ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2007.
