Lessons
Report
Most traditional piano lessons focus on reading and perfecting music pieces. While it's important to read and play music fluently, often times, the technique drills turns into mindless repetition and learning music theory becomes filling out boring worksheets. Our curriculum is based on Dr. Edwin Gordon's lifelong research on how children learn music.
Magic Cake Experience
Report
Think of how babies learn language. They listen, speak, then read and write. Music is a language. Child learns music through listening, improvising, reading and composing. Our curriculum is based on Dr. Edwin Gordon's lifelong research on how children learn music. Imagine 20 years from now. Your child, a grown up, comes home after a long day of work, sits down at the piano and starts making melodies without reaching for a music book.

I feel like a kid again when I am in the Eurhythmics classroom. Many students dread learning advanced music concepts such as mixed meter, syncopation, polyrhythms. In Eurhythmics, learning complicated music concepts is no longer intimidating but fun! Eurhythmics invite students to learn in a creative and joyous environment.
Practice
Report
What are some fun and engaging ways you use to motivate your students or your child to practice? A parent of one of my students generously agreed to share some of her strategies. Let's go visit her "piano playground" and have a wonderful "piano playtime" with squirrel, Zingo, school bus and more. We have enjoyed adapting this cute Sneaky Snacky children's board game for piano practice.
Theory
Report
In this 3-minute video, you'll see how I use the Music Staff to explain the landmark notes and how I number the staff. Does your student love learning music theory? So many students think of learning music theory as completing worksheets, memorizing facts, or playing scales, arpeggios. Far from being dry and boring though, music theory has always been fascinating to me.
