Ted E. Fogwell, MD, is board certified in Ob-Gyn. He is further trained in minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery. As part of his overall care, Dr. Fogwell provides for his patients a warm, friendly environment. He states: I work with my patients to develop an individualized treatment. My focus is patient-first, and my goal is always optimal health for my patients.

OB Education

Genetic blood draw to determine gender, the risk of Down Syndrome, Trisomy and other genetic problems. The pre-admission form is found online at www.texashealthflowermound.com/maternity-pre-admission. Additional sonograms will be ordered if they are medically necessary. You can request a sonogram anytime, please be aware that your insurance company may not reimburse you for additional sonograms.
After Delivery Instructions

Driving is acceptable as soon as you are no longer using pain medication and are able to brake effectively without any concern for your episiotomy site. If you are still concerned about pain, you will not be able to move quickly enough to stop a car. Prior to starting the engine, try moving your foot quickly from the accelerator to the brake.
