Nate has been a licensed general contractor in both Washington State and Minnesota, and has worked off and on in this field for the last 25 years. He has honed his craft since his days growing up on a farm, and today blends this expertise with a deep understanding of home ownership, the housing market, and strategic approaches to home improvement.
In addition, Nate holds an MA in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota and is certified as an Aging in Place Specialist by the National Association of Home-builders. Arwen is a committed and talented member of the Team! In addition to attending seventh grade Spanish Immersion, Arwen provides administrative support for her mucho proud Daddy, who would be buried under piles of paperwork without her!

Prairie Home Improvement helped give this successful young professional the kitchen of her dreams. This basement started as one large room but was soon transformed into an additional bedroom and bathroom, just in time for the arrival of this family's new bundle of joy. This 1920's bungalow gets a major upgrade when an unused bedroom is converted to a large, spa-like bathroom, complete with a soaker tub.
