Our full-service complex offers veterinary services, day care, boarding and grooming for your four-legged family members. Located just outside of El Paso in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, SWACC is the ultimate place for dogs and cats. Our in-house vet team is equipped to handle routine checkups, vaccinations and more in-depth diagnostics and surgery.

Our two dogs, Eightball and Suzie, have been boarding and going to the SWACC day care for several years now. They absolutely love their time there. Dr. McKee started his veterinary practice in 1975. Southwest Animal Care Complex was established in 1989 after he visited a classmate in Colorado who was running a veterinary clinic and doggie day care facility. At the time, nothing like that existed to serve the people and pets in El Paso. Dr. McKee set out to create the ultimate place for dogs and cats.

The capabilities of our team and their love of animals will put both you and your pet at ease. Water Therapy is a gentle form of rehabilitation that minimizes the stress on joints while maintaining resistance to exercise muscles.

Our doggie day care is the perfect way to let your pup socialize and burn energy while you're working or running errands. Our stand-alone facility sits on a 2.4-acre site with plenty of room for dogs to run, play fetch with our staff, splash in the heated doggie pool or relax in the shade under canopies or one of our many trees.

We know the decision to board your pet isn't made lightly. Travel with peace of mind by boarding your dogs and cats with SWACC. We offer a variety of a la carte services that allow us to cater to the needs of each of our guests. Your pet will be cared for like they're part of our family. Our dog runs are climate-controlled and feature a state-of-the-art floor heating system.

Let us spoil your pet with a pampering session in our luxurious grooming spa. Grooming guests are provided with fresh water and potty breaks as needed. Our experienced grooming staff uses specialty shampoos and grooming treatments to have your dog or cat looking (and smelling!)
